Our obedience, in these everyday, mundane moments, builds our trust in him. And that trust deepens as we remember who he is and what he has already done for us. That trust brings us to a place where, even in the midst of hardship or uncertainty, we can see his kindness at work in the details.
A Reminder of God’s Grace
November of 2019 marks five years since we’ve been holding church in the women’s side of the 33rd Street Jail. We are so thankful for the volunteers on Team 33rd who make church happen each week and for their heart for serving everyone in God’s kingdom. Here are some words from a few of these awesome women.

Would God Really Send Me To Prison?
Micah 6:8 has a nice ring: Do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly. Yet, how is it possible to fight for justice and mercy, when in the jail they seem to be polar opposites? An inmate recently asked, “Would God really sentence me to prison when He knows my heart?”
